(FR) RÉSIDENCES CROISÉES : FRANCE/BRÉSIL 2022-2024

Dans le cadre de la coopération entre Nantes et Recife, un programme de résidences croisées triennal a été lancé. Ce projet est à l’intention des artistes résidants à Nantes Métropole. Il est porté par Paradise centre d’art contemporain, en collaboration avec Nantes Métropole, la ville de Nantes & l’Institut Français, l’Ambassade de France au Brésil, l’Usina de Arte,l’Oficina Francisco Brennand et Mamam Museo of Modern Art.

  • En 2022, Paradise (Nantes) a accueilli l'artiste brésilien Abiniel João Nascimento. Au Brésil, l'Usina de Arte a accueilli l'artiste nantais Igor Porte.
  • En 2023, c'est l'artiste brésilienne Juliana Alves Xukuru qui est accueillie à Paradise (Nantes) & l'artiste nantaise Céleste Richard Zimmermann qui est en résidence au sein de l'Oficina Francisco Brennand
  • 2024: Accueil au sein de Paradise & au Brésil au sein du Mamam Museo of Modern Art à Recife (appel à venir)

(EN) RÉSIDENCES CROISÉES : FRANCE/BRÉSIL 2022-2024


A triennial cross-residency programme has been launched as part of the cooperation between the cities of Nantes and Recife (Brazil). This programme is aimed at artists residing in Nantes Métropole and in Recife. It is led by Paradise, a contemporary art center, in collaboration with Nantes Métropole, the city of Nantes and the French Institute, the French embassy in Brazil, the Usina de Arte, the Oficina Francisco Brennand and Mamam Museo of Modern Art.
  • • In 2022, Paradise (Nantes) welcomed the Brazilian artist Abiniel João Nascimento. In Brazil, the Usina de Arte welcomed the artist Igor Porte.
  • • In 2023, the Brazilian artist Juliana Alves Xukuru was welcomed in Nantes and Céleste Richard Zimmermann was in residency at the Oficina Francisco Brennand.
  • • In 2024, Paradise will still be the Nantes strcuture welcoming an artist, while it will be Mamam Museo of Modern Art that will open its doors for the cross-residency in Recife (call to come).
